Signs of being a psychopath
Please can you advise me on how to get help for a daughter who clearly has signs of being a psychopath. She was diagnosed as one many years ago but never had treatment. Now it is getting serious and the whole family is at their wits end with her. Obviously she sees no wrong in what she does so how do you convince her she needs some serious help? She is 43 years old.

A fresh siagnosis and re-assessment would be best. The problem with treating any personality, maybe especially this one, is that nothing works without the sincere cooperation of the person, who needs to recognize that they have a problem which needs hel. and this is seldom forthcoming. Also, unfortunately, the chances are not great for success in someone in their 40's, as they are generally even more set in their ways by then.
If she won't accept your advice that she needs help, this is awfulyl sad, but there may be nothing you can do other than let her experience the consequences of the choices she makes, and perhaps at some stage she will remember what you said and consider trying to follow that advice.
