Sleepless Nights

I recently been have sleepless nights, sometimes I get up at 01:00am and walk around and cannot sleep. I dont drink alcohol, nor do I have much cafeine at work, but I am really stressed at work.

I've been to the doc and she prescribed Dormicum for a week only. To date the medication is not helping, I get up when the dogs bark, cars screech and small noises at night after taking the medcation.

What is the next level of medication I can get?

See a good local shrink for a proper assessment ( nobody can select the best treatment without being sure what is to be treated ) ; and see a psychologist, especially, to learn how to relax yourself and approach sleep in ways that will be restful and natural, rather than chemical
