Teenage apathy
How do I get my child to take pride in his dress, his schoolwork and anything he takes on? Divorced since he was 4yrs. He is now 13yrs. HELP!

Its a bit late to be starting, but ( and also post this question on the parenting forum ) sit down with him and draw up calmly a reasonable list of expectations --- not too grandiose or unrealistic, and a system by which he can earn points towards rewards he wants, and will lost points by not keeping to the agreed rules and standgards
