to buy or not to buy
It’s my BF birthday next week and I am in a bit of a dilemma.
Background: BF stays in Durbs. I bought tickets long time a go to fly down to be with him on his birthday. I recently started a new job – so I took the days unpaid leave – so I will not yet feel the benefit of a nice increase with January’s payday. Also I think most of us have a very tight budget this time off the year after the festive season. What do I do – do I buy something with my credit card which is already almost maxed out? Or do I take him to his favourite restaurant in Durbs with a nice card and just spoil him with lots of TLC??
I can’t really afford to buy a expensive gift, I wanted my showing up to be his surprise gift but I told him I will be flying down as circumstances were as such that I had to let the cat out of the bag.
I must also add he is not the type of guy that expects big fancy gifts?

Any suggestions??

The second option sounds so much better --- expense is no measure of love. So don't max out the card. And the cat says she feels much bette for being out of the bag --- it's mighty stuffy in there
