to clear up the confusion..
Hi cybershrink. So you have no theories on my son's attraction to the "unsuitable daughter in law?" Oh well ..ours not to reason why..
No, there was nothing strange about my posting. What happened was I clicked on submit before finishing my original tirade and before I submitted the second half, Kate had answered and the interloper had inserted that disgusting penis reference. Fascinating, actually, as the unsuitable daughter in law has referred to my son's penis, much to my revulsion. That is just the sort of person she is. Anyway, rest assured I'll not say a word. Enough of my son's friends have tried to get him to explain what he sees in her and he actually can't explain it at all. They ask him to state what he loves about her and he can't say!
I am actually married to a man who is not a bad person, but who is not suited to me at all. My parents saw it when I was about to get engaged to him and tried to warn me, but I did the predictable thing and flew into his arms, much to my everlasting regret.

Good grief, I hope the unsuitable daughter-in-law wasn't on the forum at the same time and took the opportunity to slip in a nasty comment ? Stranger things have happened here. Clearly, whatever the basis for this attraction ( and there is no good science to guide us here, to theories are fantasy rather than having a sound basis ) it appears that hjis friends are just as puzzled as you are. Lets hope history won't repeat itself, and that he doesn't respond to your discouragement, however diplomatically delivered, by flying into her arms.
