My boss gave me urbanol to take today - it's helping a lot - i was taking biral and it did nothing - i know that urbanol is not a quick fix but it's helping and i'm not under the impression that everything is fine, and neither am I going to stop going to couselling. It's just helping me "function and see things more rationally

is this a very bad idea?

Urbanol is Clobazam, one of the Benzo ( benzodiazepine ) tranquilliers --- the valium family. So it can indeed help one to calm down. The counselling will be the source of your solutions, but Urbanol ( which would need a prescription from your doc ) or something similar might help you to feel more comfortable while working on the counselling
