2 vets, 2 opinions
Through having 2 homes I have 2 vets. One doesn' t even want to see my dog if a malady hasn' t lasted 2 days, the other wants to check on everything and immediately does a blood smear every time. Who' s right?
Now I have my dog feeling a bit off (dry warm nose, wants to sleep and be left alone, appetite much reduced, no vomiting, gums look normal pink) for several days, but for some time each day she' s a lot better- nose gets wet and cold, energy kicks in, appetite returns. I wish she could tell me what' s wrong, but every time I am about to go to the vet she feels better again. What would you do if this were your dog?

Dear Abe

As I'm a vet I would simply examine my dog to try and determine what is wrong.
