My ten year old jack russel is continually biting his paws. I'm not sure if they are itchy or if he is bored and looking for something to keep him busy, but he is biting them raw. what is the best thing to do to stop him from doing this? pls help!

The cause of the problem must be determined to be able to treat it effectively. He may be allergic to something or it may be due to boredom. Please have your vet examine him and treat him as indicated.
