Friend for my baby
I'm thinking of getting a friend for my Boston terrier (Bruto), he's turning 1 year old in November. He's a great pet - a happy little energy ball. Thing is that I think he sometimes gets lonely when my fiancé and I am at work, he loves going to my parents because they also have a Boston with whom he is great friends. Is it a good or bad idea to get another Boston as a friend for Bruto? Would it be better to get another male or rather a female? (Bruto has been sterilized and we'll sterilize the new one as well.)

I've always preferred males; I think they're nicer dogs. Is this just my imagination or are female dogs more prone to be difficult or have less of a nice character?

Getting another should be fine. I am sure there are subscribers who would not agree about female dogs but as we are individual I think we are entitiled to our own likes and dislikes.
