Please help!!! Dog out of control
I have a Jack Russel that is almost a year old. She is driving me scatty, so much so that I am frightened of what I may do to her.
She gets into everything, chews up stuff, and wont listen when called or repremanded. Last month she stole my cell phone off my bedside table and chewed it up so bad I had to put an insurance claim in. It has gotten to the point where I wont let her have free reign of the house as she always has. Now she has taught herself to open the screen door!!! Gaining entry to do as she pleases. I have spent sooo much money on chewy toys and treats for her, balls, ropes, bones, you name it, I've baught it. I take her for a walk daily too, even though we live out on a farm and she has lots of space to run and roam around! The punchline of this situation is this...... while I was waiting for my new cell phone my BOSS lent me one of his old ones. I put it ontop of the microwave, which is ontop of the kitchen counter, which my dog has miraculously started to climb up on. Guess what??? She ate that cell phone too!!! That has cost me over R 2000.00.
Please tell me what I can do to stop all this naughtiness!!! How do I teach her lesson while still being humaine???
