Diabetic trying to lose weight
My boyfriend, who is a diabetic, is trying to lose weight. He has been cycling for 3weeks now in an effort to lose this weight. For some reason he has gained more weight as oppose to losing it, even though his consumption of junk food had decreased by 90% and his intake of fruits and veggies have increased a lot. Ever since his cycling, he has also experienced headaches. Please can you tell me what is causing these two outcomes and also what he should be doing? Thank you

Sweetheart, We all know that it is no easy task to lose weight. I suggest that he sees a dietitian interested in obesity and diabetes to give him expert advise on how to ensure that he eats correctly, not only to ensure weight loss, but also to control his blood sugar. He is on the right path - effective weight loss can only be achieved by a combination of a healthy low calori diet and regular moderate exercising.
