Colon support
I'm suffering from irregular bowel movements (once a week - if I'm lucky perhaps twice). I'm leading a relative balanced life (eating fibre, drinking water, getting enough fruits and veggies; not overweight except for the normal 2-3 kg which women usually wants to loose). Am lacking on the sporting / activity side.

I am taking "Colon Support" tablets (natural product) but this seems to have helped only in the firts month. Should I continue using it?

What else can I do to leave a more normal life?

Dear Monica
From what you say, you already seem to be doing all the correct things to ensure bowel regularity. It also appears that the 'Colon Support' tablets are not helping so you can stop taking them. Regular exercise does also stimulate the colon and promotes regularity, so you may benefit from doing at least 30 min of exercise a day (going for brisk walks or skipping or join a gym and ask the instructor for a set of aerobic/cardio exercises). I would also suggest that you have a medical checkup to see if you suffer from Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) of the constipated variety. There are medications available that counteract this condition. Click on 'Diet' at the top of this page and do a search with 'IBS' to find the article I wrote this year on 'NEW LIGHT SHED ON IBS'. Other options are to use a gentle laxative such as Fybogel and probiotics (good microorganisms like Bifidoforte which you can buy at health shops).
Best regards
