Dear OCD
Diet does not cause OCD, but you may find that taking additional vitamins and minerals can assist with this problem, but please discuss the use of supplements with the dr who is treating you for your OCD, because some supplements may interfere with medication. For your general health it would be advisable to start eating a healthy balanced diet and drinking 1,5 litres of water a day (not more) in addition to the other liquids you drink. If you click on 'Diet' at the top of this page and then on 'Diet basics' you can read the articles on 'Balanced diet' that explain what foods we should eat and how much.
