DIET TO PREVENT BLOATING FEELING
Will you please give me some do's & don'ts for a friend of mine.
He is a Pilot, that my increase the feelling of bloating after flying.
What kind of food should he eat and not eat to prevent the side-effects of flying and eating the wrong food?

Unless we know what is causing the bloating (which can be due to many different causes, e.g. irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), ulcers, gallstones, food sensitivity, etc), it is rather difficult to give any advice. It may be a good idea for your friend to ask the drs when next he has a medical examination to check on this problem. In the meanwhile he can try cutting out all spicy foods and condiments, very rich, fatty foods, gas cold drinks, alcohol and foods that can cause gas formation, e.g. dried beans, peas, soya and lentils, raw onion, garlic, cucumber, green peppers, and the entire cabbage family (cabbage, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cauliflower). Some individuals also react this way to wholewheat bread, so he needs to make a note of the foods that cause him distress and cut them out. But get him to ask the drs to investigate if there is an underlying cause such as IBS.
