EATING PATTERN
DURING THE WEEKENDS I BARELY EAT ANY FOOD. I JUST DON'T FEEL HUNGRY ON THE WEEKENDS. MAYBE BECAUSE I DRINK ALOT ON THE WEEKENDS. BUT DURING THE WEEK, I EAT EVERYTHING IN SIGHT. I USED TO BE ON ANTI DEPRESSANTS AND DID NOT EAT ALOT WHEN I WAS TAKING THEM BUT NOW THAT I HAVE STOPPED TAKING THEM, I AM JUST SO HUNGRY DURING THE WEEK. PLEASE CAN U TRY HELP ME WITH THIS PROBLEM.

I think your drinking over weekends suppresses your appetite. Be careful that you don't overdo things as this can cause weight gain and/or have a negative effect on your health in general, as well as your psychological makeup. Your hunger during the week could be a reaction to ingesting more energy over weekends via alcohol, or you could still have unresolved psychological issues which make you turn to food for comfort. If your depression is still lingering and you have not yet consulted a clinical psychologist, I would suggest that you do so in order to determine what the underlying problems are and if you are using food as a substitute. In the meanwhile try eating more foods with a low glycaemic index (GI), so that your insulin levels stay more constant. Click on 'Diet' and 'Diet Basics' and read the articles on the GI.
