feeding baby
My baby is now 7 months. She eats cereal, fruit, veg and meat/chicken. Can I start giving her egg? And fish? And is there an advantage in giving her brown bread over white?

Dear Muffin
Goodness, most babies only start with baby cereal at 6 months, so your little one seems to be rather far advanced. You can try giving her soft boiled egg, start with a tiny portion of yolk, and check for any reactions - rash or tummy upsets. If she does not react then she can include egg in her diet as it is an excellent source of iron for infants. Fish is also acceptable, but in tiny portions and start with very bland fish such as steamed hake. It is always a good idea to get children to eat brown bread, instead of white, but at this stage white bread may be easier for her to digest. Don't overfeed the lassie as this can lead to overweight and create all kinds of problems in future.
Best regards
