Foods to bind

What are good foods to eat to combat a 'runny stomach'? And what foods should I avoid?

Dear Trixie
This depends on what is causing your diarrhoea? If it is just a 24-hour tummy virus then it is best to lest nature take its course and your digestion will return to normal after a few days. If you have chronic loose stools then you need to have a medical examination to find out what is causing this condition (infections, spastic colon, food allergies, etc). Generally speaking you can combat loose stools by reducing your intake of dietary fibre - eat only white bread, cereals without bran, very little fruit and reduce your fat intake as this can also cause loose stools.
