golden delicious apples
hi there! just a quick question!
what would the negatives health wise be , if i consume roughly 10 apples a day, in addition 2 a regular diet of :
pronutro- breakfeast
ultra lean liquid meal- lunch
regular meal-protein,veg and little carbs-supper
will the above ,and with regular exercise (+- 5 days weekly 30min cardio and 30 min weight training), lose the required fat(30%at present)from my body and not have any negative effects from all these apples?im kinda addicted 2 apples...love em.

Apples are a wonderful fruit to eat, but be careful that you don't overdose on them! If is a more balanced approach to eat say 5 apples a day plus at least one fruit that is rich in vit C, such as an orange or a naartjie. Also remember to eat a vegetable that is rich in beta-carotene at supper (pumpkin, carrots, yellow sweet potatoes, broccoli, spinach, etc), just to make sure that you get sufficient protective nutrients from your fruit and veg. I also trust that you will be using fat-free milk with your Pronutro and that the ultra lean liquid meal contains adequate calcium supplies? If not, then add 2 cups of fat-free milk or yoghurt to your diet. Keep in mind that 10 medium-sized apples will contribute about 890 kcal to your energy intake.
