Dear Ettiene
The information on this Website is free and is provided as a service to the public! There is not specific diet for patients with Graves disease unless the hyperthyroidism is making you very tired. This is usually due to the very high demands made on energy if the disease is severe. In such cases, it is advisable to increase your energy intake by eating more at each meal and also as snacks in between meals. The use of liquid meal supplements like Ensure (buy at chemist) or any of the many other products on the market, can also boost your energy intake. The treatment of Graves disease is medical and not really nutritional.
