Is it a myth that drinking hot water can reduce body fats on ones stomach. A friend said it works fo her. If yes, then how hot should the water be?

Yes, it is a myth that drinking water at any temperature will cause actual weightloss, esp in a specific part of the body like the stomach. The best solution to overweight is to reduce your energy intake and up your energy output with plenty of exercise. Include exercises like situps that target the tummy. Drinking about 2-3 cups of water a day and a total of 2,5 litres of liquid (that includes all the drinks you have) per day is a healthy habit, but overdoing things can have negative results. It is actually better not to drink hot water as you can scald your mouth and throat.
