Dear Reader
If you use harsh laxatives on a daily basis, you will probably develop diarrhoea which causes loss of water via the faeces. You would, therefore, weigh less because of these water losses. If the diarrhoea is serious it may also interfere with food intake and absorption, which may reduce your energy intake, BUT this is a very negative way of doing things because it will also cause deficiency diseases and after awhile the bowels lose their ability to function normally. It is much better to lose weight by eating a balanced low-fat diet and doing exercise.
