Dear Farana
According to the SA Food Tables, rye bread provides 932 kJ and 1.7 g of fat per 100g, while roti made with sunflower oil provides 2497 kJ and 45.5 g of fat per 100g. If the 2 roti and 2 slices of rye bread both weight 100g, then you will be ingesting much more energy and a very large amount of fat by eating the 2 roti. If you are trying to lose weight then stick to the rye bread until you have achieved your goal.
