Should I stop eating meat?
I need to know if i should stop eating meat while on diet, if not how much should i take.
Dear Nwabie
It is not necessary to cut out all meat when you are trying to lose weight. Just eat small portions (about the size of your fist or 60g) of lean meat (cut off all visible fat) and make sure that the way you cook the meat does not add lots of calories from fat. So grill or stew meat and use chicken (without skin), venison, ostrich and pork (if you don't have a religious reason for avoiding pork), which all have a low fat content. Also make sure to have fish for at least 3 meals a week, because fish is low in fat.
Best regards
