The GI Diet - anyone out there?
Could i pls have readers feedback re the low GI not GL diet? is it good, how fast was the weight loss is sticking to it, i.e. how much did you loose per week when following it strictly? i need to know if its good b4 i go to a dietician, also do you eat lots of carbs in a day? do you still feel hungry on this diet? is it better than weighless or same, for those who've done w/l?

I hope that the other Readers are responding. Scientific research has shown that a low GI or GL diet is a valuable tool for preventing many degenerative diseases, like diabetes and insulin resistance, obesity, etc. Weight loss is slow and steady, which is what you want if you are not to regain all the weight you have lost. You would eat a moderate quantity of low GI carbs each day. You should not feel at all hungry on this diet because low GI foods don't overstimulate insulin secretion so that your blood sugar levels fall rapidly and cause hunger.
