Dear Marilize
Your present BMI = 23,5, which is still nicely within the normal range (18-25). For an ideal BMI of 22 you would need to weigh 64 kg (as you used to). It is possible that your energy intake is still too high to ensure weight loss or that the contraceptive is preventing weight loss. To lose weight you need to basically change your lifestyle. Reduce your energy intake by eating an energy-reduced, low-fat, high-fibre diet (click on 'Diet' at the top of this page, 'Weight loss' , ‘The right approach' and then on 'Slimming Diet' for a copy of such a diet). Combine this diet with all the exercise you do and you should lose those 5 kg.
Hang in there
