Benzene Exposure
Hello my boyfriend works with benzene on a daily basis and it seems to have affected his skin on his right hand.Its very dry the skin is hard and flaky and has spread and is becoming worse.Is there any kind of oitment he can use to elimanate this.Please advise

This dryness could be caused by the benzene, although there are other possible causes. There isn't an ointment to use specifically in the case of benzene exposure; I would suggest any good moisturiser used on clean skin - ask your pharmacist tp recommend a brand.

In future, he should definitely use gloves when working with benzene, and if he gets any on his skin, wash immediately with soap and water.

If the problem does not start to improve in a few days, then he should get his hand examined by a doctor. He should also consult a doctor if he's experienced any other symptoms of benzene exposure.
