Hello
My side of the family are very fertile. I am dating a man 20 years older than me, we are planning on starting a family as soon as we get married, what are the chances of us falling pregnant as he is 45 years old? What can we do to increase fertility?
Both of us have got a child from a previous relationship.

Fortunately the age of the man does not in general alter his fertility status. Provided that there are no coital difficulties it should not be necessary to do any further investigations until one year of unprotected intercourse has not resulted in a conception.
