Vasectomy reversal - more info, please?!!!
Hi Doc
Can you please give me advice...
Hubby had a vasectomy reversal at the beginning of this month.
How long before the sperm is "active" again, and how soon after the operation is it save to have sex?
After reading this forum, I realised that there is a lot of info about vasectomies - but none on the reversal. Can you please supply more information about this, and perhaps a few websites we can visit?
Hubby also battles with penile warts, what causes this?
Will greatly appreciate your response.
Regards,

It may take upto 72 days before athe fullpicture of sperm production and function can be obtained. However, it is not necessary to abstain from intercourse and normal sexual activity may resume immediately. However, it is of great importance to avoid any infections at this stage as it may cause inflammation withi9n the tubules and duct and may cause faiure of the procedure.
Penile warts may be a sexually aquired infection and is best handled by a urologist. In some cases warts may be associated, much in later in life, with cancer of the genitalia in both males and females.
