Where to from here!
Hi All

Any idea where to from here.

Trying to conceive for more that 2 years now.

Blood test confirms that my hormones are normal.

Sonar confirm no cysts, both ovaries appear and seems to be normal.

HSG confirm no block tubes.

Clearblue ovulation test I’m ovulating on days 12 and 13.

Hubby has a kid from a previous relationship.

Any input would be appreciated.

Regards
D

Dear D

In the first instance I would suggest that your partner do a full and thorough sperm analysis although he has a child from a previous relationship. should the sperm analysis be normal then several intrauterine inseminations can be attempted. This procedure is relatively inexpensive (less than a R1000 at our centre with a fairly good result). If however no pregnancy ensues after 3 or 4 such attempts, I would seriously then consider fertilisation factors to be a problem or alternately implantation factors. This may well require invitro fertilisation to verify i.e to test sperm and egg fertilisation in a laboratory setting. In your specific case other factors such as stress management, vitamin and mineral supplementation and allied medical technology may well be of benefit.
