Exercise program to retard eostoarthriti
Knees oesteoarthritis as per your article 4 June 2007 I am looking for specific exercise program or exercises to retard progression of oestarthritis in my knees. Many thanks, Cheryl
Interestingly, progression of osteoarthritis of the hips and knees can be retarded by a well-planned exercise regime.

Hi Cheryl

I wish I could provide you with one, but I'm not able in this format (or under the circumstances), because though this article (which was not written by me, incidentally) is true, and osteoarthritis is helped by regular exercise, every case is different and so a one size fits all programme can be incorrect. So what you would need to do is work with a physician, rheumatologist or biokineticst, all of who are trained in this area, to help you out. in particular, a biokineticst will be most helpful, as they are specialists in exercise and people with conditions such as this. So that would be the best place to find a programme.
