Hi M

I must confess that I'm not actually sure of the recovery time or the procedure involved with breast reduction surgery, and so I can't really say what you can and cannot do. i think that this is probably best discussed with your doctor. I can't see that any exercise would pose a particular problem to you, although at various stages in the recovery, there may be some exercises that you should avoid (again, I'm not a doctor and so wouldn't want to give wrong information on this). Perhaps something like cycling or swimming would be good bets to start with. The diet is also very important, and so I would look into this as well with a dietician, but also keep in mind that your body is healing and you do need to recover, and so forcing things will not do any good. Therefore, don't panic if your weight goes up slightly - you need to just relax and recover, your weight is not going to skyrocket while you rest, and so you can always start exercise later.

Good luck
