Muscle development & high protein diet VS High cholestrol
My son is 12 years of age and small built for his age. Due to teasing at school and his wrestling activities he wants to build muscle. My gym advised me that he must use Muscle Fuel from USN. We purchased his first round of Muscle Fuel but I believe that he also has to follow a high protein diet. However, he has high cholestrol which is a genetic desease. How can I let him follow the correct diet in accordance with his training plan but also ensure that his cholestrol levels are controlled?

Hi Trudie

The best thing you can do for your son, is to visit a good dietician who can advise you on a natural, healthy eating plan, that will give him plenty of energy, but also caters for his high cholesterol. At twelve, I must be honest, I REALLY don't believe your son should be on supplements and trying to build extra muscle. He is still a child and I think you need to let him enjoy his childhood and focus on what is really important in life. You need to set that example for him, otherwise you'll be "feeding" insecurities.

Please consider this seriously - and help him to enjoy his childhood years!
