My goal is to lose weight.Currently i do power work in the gym 4 times a week for about 1 hour per day and cycle about 8 hours a week . I watch what i eat , i have cut on most cabrs. I have lost sum kilo' s , but it' s going slowly now.The cycle without carbs is a nigthmare.My question is . Will the use of a protien suplement help me to lose weight?

no, by itself, making a change like adding protein is not a stimulus for weight loss. Your entire diet needs to support it and I can assure you that cutting out carbs is not the way to do it. If anything, that is slowing down your progress. So I really think you need to consider seeing a dietician and getting onto a sensible eating plan, to go along with the training. As far as the exercise goes, it seems about right, but without a diet that supports it, your efforts will be futile. So the carbs is key, and so is the rest of that diet - don't patch it up by using supplements, rather see a dietician and find out how you might make sensible choices to help you out here.
