thigh exercises
Can you please recommend exercises i can do in the house to tone my thighs all-round. Can you advise the number of reps' and pace. I exercise four times a week, but my thighs are bulking up instead of toning. This results in my jeans fitting well everywhere else, but being tight around the thighs. I do lunges(without weights about 15x3 reps'), Yoga, tricycle (light resistance for about 30 to 45 minutes) and punching a boxing bag. Thank you.

I see that you posted a question similar to this previously, and I even remember answering it, but something must have gone wrong with the uploading of the reply. So sorry about that, I'll get it right this time!

I think that your problem is not uncommon - it's pretty normal for people to develop some muscle in the early part of training. I don't think it is a bad thing, to be honest, but I appreciate that it's not everyone's goal. Looking at your training, there is not really all that much that you are doing that is obviously the cause of your problem. All I can suggest is that you take out the lunges, as they are the main stimulus for the thigh muscles. If your training consists only of yoga, cycling and boxing, it will hopefully help. Also, look at running as an additional form of exercise that may help you to lose more weight, all round, because you can't target the thighs specifically. All that targetting does, as you have seen with your lunges, is cause muscle growth. You are looking for fat burning, and so try more cardio.
