when will i see it?
i am slightly overweight, i started gyming about two weeks ago, and i practically go every night and do about 50min or more cardo and also weight execises. How long until i start seeing noticable results?
Hi Frilo
The first thing you will see is nothing. Not trying to be funny, but you will gain muscle mass from exercise, but you will remain at a stable overall weight. That only happens because you lose fat mass, and therefore, seeing nothing as a result of training (as far as the scale goes), is a good thing - it means you are losing fat. But don't trust the scale - it doesn't know whether you are losing fat and gaining muscle, or gaining fat! This usually happens in the first 4 to 6 weeks. Therefore, i would give it more than 2 months before you start deciding that you are not losing fat mass. The key, I believe is to focus on the fitness aspect - are you getting fitter, do you feel beter when exercising? If you say yes, then you are on the right track, and the weight will come off as your body needs it to. But don't get too hung up on the number on the scale, as I said.
Good luck
