am i straight?
I am in my thirties and have always enjoyed being with men. However, I always thought a womans body more sexy than a mans. When I watch porn, I dont' care about seeing the man, but I like to see girls, I don't know if I could be bisexual, or if I like watching them, because I can pretend that it is me, I know what it feels like. I have at times, fantasized about being with women, but I'm not sure it's something I could ever really do. I have never met a woman in real life that I felt myself attracted to, only in fantasies and on t.v. and such. Am I straight, or could I be bisexual?

Hi to you NotSure and thanks for posting here.

Sometimes we place too much emphasis on labels such as 'straight' or 'bi'.

Everyone is located somewhere on a continuum between being 100% straight and 100% gay - most straight people just have difficulty in acknowleding this in themselves.

You raise a very interesting point: when you watch porn you relate to, or identify with the woman "because I know what it feels like". I imagine that invariably you're watching straight porn, and you're getting turned on by watching another woman interacting with a man. That has absolutely nothing - zero, nix, niente - to do with homoerotic content.

Your curiosity and fantasies about being with another woman are quite normal and merely indicate that, like every other sexual being, you're not 100% straight. But that doesn't make you bisexual either - it sounds as if this is purely on a fantasy level.

I'd describe you as straight.
