i am 25 and been in a gay relationship for 2 and a half years during which i have been so utterly committed and faithful. one cud say i was the breadwinner in the relatonship as my better half was a part time student and worked part time to have some funding of his own. i supported , spurred him in his studies . saw to it that he was comfortable and unhindered in accomplishing his goals.recently i was invited to a wedding and there were a few gay guys , friends of the bride brother who is gay. and in chatting it came out that my BF had been for the duration of our relationship been engaging in sexual relations with one of the guys there.I was in a state of disbelief at first but as the facts became clearer I knew that it was true. before confronting him I made very very sure and he still denies even knowing the guys.I have asked him to get out of my life. He tells people he loves me .Why do guys do that? is it just about sex, is it normal acceptable behaviour. much as I miss him I will never ever take him back or even acknowledge him in public.

Hi Savanah, a warm welcome to the forum and thanks for this post.

This started as 'gossip' but you seem to have verified the fact that your partner was unfaithful to you. Assuming that your verification was accurate - sadly there are vindictive people out there who get off on sabotaging others' relationships - you're quite right to terminate the relationshop. Your partner deceived you and lied to you. His behaviour is unacceptable. He's the wrong guy for you.

Don't waste your time trying to figure why it happened. It happened. Rather invest in making sure that you're OK and that you get over him.
