Petogen contraceptives causing me not to have my period
I have just started using the contraceptive: Petogen and my cycle has changed after I got the injection. I had my period after a week or two after had the shot. I also had my period two times in a month. I've been getting headaches, funny feelings on my body and I haven't been on my period for a month now. I had a home pregnancy test taken and it was negative. I had sex using a condom, now I have some weird discharge(yellowish & thickish) and some sort of a wound on my near vagina. Whats wrong with me? Is this normal or should i consult with a doctor?
It is normal not to have periods on the injection. The other symptoms may be related to your body adjusting to the injection. The discharge and "wound" sounds like an infection though and I would suggest that you see a doctor to assess.
Best wishes
