Confused Menopause
Hi,
Sept 2006, I bled for 6 weeks, Had a D&C & was checked for any abnormalaties. None found. Regular periods for 3 months, then no periods for 7 months. Had some bleeding last night but this morning, nothing. Have asked my GP if the lack of periods was normal & she said yes. I am 45 & thought that I am coming to the end of menopause. Is this light bleeding normal after 7 months of none? Not on any hormone meds & don't want to start either.

It probably is normal, though the usual advice is that any bleeding after 6 monbths needs an assessment.
