Contraceptive after birth
Hi Kippie or anyone can give advise. I'm 30 wks now & at first I wanted to sterilise myself after baby, but reading through your answer, I've decided not to do it. Can you tell me whether the nuristerate injection is available at your normal family planning clinic. I think I'll go for it. I'm sure after baby I'll be on a period or bleeding alot, so when do you think would be the right time to go for it. I know, I'm planning ahead, but this time I want to place safe cause I know my man, can't stay without it, and I really don't want to go through this in a hurry, I love it I must admit, the kicks, the movements, I just love being pregnant, but after this one, I think no,no it's enough.

Nuristerate is available at all Family Planning clinics. You can have it a few weeks after delivery. You do not have to wait for the bleeding to stop.

Best wishes
