Double Uterus
Hi,
My mother had several miscarriages before she was diagnosed with a double uterus. I am now 30 and thinking of trying for children and would like to know if this condition could be hereditary and is there any way of scanning before falling pregnant? She and I both have a very similar menstruation history in terms of sever pain and cramping on the first and third days of our period. Any advice would be welcome.

It is not usually heriditary. You can have a scan to check the uterus.

Best wishes
