German measles injection

I am trying to fall pregnant, although i have not received the german measles injection before, is this gonna be safe for my child and pregnancy?

It is usually advisable to have the rubella vaccination before you fall pregnant, otherwise you are at risk if exposed to german measles. This would mean that you should not fall pregnant for three months thereafter.
