Gestational thrombocytopenia
Hi Dr.

I had my 1st pregnancy last year where my gynae had diagnosed me with Gestational thrombocytopenia and I had a very difficult pregnancy. I am now 27 and am thinking about my future pregnancies as I really want a 2nd child but I am scared that I have a difficult pregnancy again.

Is there a chance that this can re-occure for a 2nd time?

Thank you

Nadine

Gestational thrombocytopaenia should not really cause any probelms so I am not sure why your pregnancy was difficult.
