Heavy Peri. TTC and now depo Provera?
Hi! I need help! I had Endometriosis and had a D&C and Lap done a year and a half ago. 5 months ago we started trying to conceive and my hubby did tests and his sperm count is fine. I started getting heavy periods again, but not too bad just clotty. Now, my Gyno wants me to have the Depo Provera shot for 2 cycles and stop my period to help the heavy bleeding. That means we might only get pregnant like 2 years later!!! Does the heavy periods or clottiness stand in my way of getting pregnant? We desperately want to conceive now as we are ready?! Do you think i should take the shot or just try naturally? Thank you so very much!

I agree that the Depo will delay your pregnancy for a long time. If your doctor thinks that the endometriosis is causing the heavy periods, then this will need treatment again. Otherwise, just try naturally.

Best wishes
