Help me save my baby's life, please
Doc, I am currently 29 weeks pregnant with a baby boy. About 3 weeks ago my abusive husband beat me up to a pulp and that night I decided to kill myself and ofcourse killing my baby inside, so I drank about +20 Natrodale iron tables. These did not kill me and the following day I went to see my doctor (whom I did not tell of the previous night's incident) who confirmed that my baby was live. Now yesterday I went again for my routine check and found out that my baby's head measures 30wks and the rest of the body 27.5wks, I would like to know from you if you think this growth defect could be a result of those iron tablets and beatings and if there's anything I can do to help my baby's growth because he is still kicking and live inside and I have decided to leave my husband with my baby live. My baby was weighing in at 800g 3weeks ago and now he is 1100g with a good heartbeat, bloodflow through the placenta and there's enough fluids in the tummy, is this bad because i read that at 29wks babies weigh in at about 1300g and my doc is a little concerned and I'll be seeing him again in 2weeks and until then is there anything i can do, maybe bedrest etc....

By taking my daily DS24 am I making matters worse or am helping my baby?

Please help me!

I don't think that the growth problem is related to either the tablets or the beatings. You could rest as much as possible and make sure that you follow a healthy diet. Stop smoking if this is the case. You can continue with the multivitamins. They will do good rather than harm.

Best wishes
