Help: Trying for another baby, but need info....
I fel pregnant after 4 years of trying. My son was born with an armdefect,no ovula,Spina Bifida Oculta and no the ribbones.Other than that,is he perfect. The armdefect are the only visible thing different to any other child his age. He is 13 months old and we would tike to start trying for a brother/sister for him.
But would like to know, what is the chances for our next baby to have birthdefects too? And is there anything(medication) I should take when conceving to try and reduce the risks?

From what you have described, this may not be a genetic problem, but you would probably have to have your child seen by a geneticist to give you a risk. You should take folate tablets while trying to conceive. This helps prevent spina bifida.
