hysterctomy & ? ovulation
Dear gynaedoc
Just want to enquire if one had a hysterectomy (ovaries still intact), does one still produce an egg with consequent ovulation?
If yes, what happens to the released egg.
I am 34 years old, but am having quite sore breasts. My doctor says it is hormonal related

Yes you still ovulate. The egg disintegrates as it would if you had a uterus.
