Impact of the pill on baby
Hi
I am using Melodene and would like to stop it in order to fall pregnant. How long should I wait after stopping the pill before trying to get pregnant. My GP said I should wait around 3 months to make sure as I will otherwise increase my risk to have a miscarriage or a baby with a genetic disorder.
Please advise

It is a precaution to wait for three months, but not entirely necessary as no ill effects have been found in women falling pregnant soon after stopping the Pill.
Best wishes
