Is pregnancy possible?
Dear Doc,
I had a sterilization about six years ago, but my tubes weren't cut, they were only tied. I got married again three months ago. My period was always regular, with my last period starting on the 10th of January. I had light bleeding around the 1st of Feb and thought it was my period but it only lasted about a day or two. Since about the 5th of Feb I have been experiencing a lot of strange symptoms. I am over emotional, irritable, nauseous, tired and this morning I woke up with my left breast feeling REALLY tender, I thought it might be a gland but I can't feel anything. I did a pregnancy test about a week ago and it was negative. Could it be hormones? Or is it possible to get pregnant even though sterilised?
Hoping to hear from you soon.

There is a small failure rate with sterilisations. You pronbly did the pregnancy test too early. I would suggest that you repeat it.

Best wishes
