MIRENA AND BREASTFEEDING
Hi

My daughter is 27 months old and I am still breastfeeding her and am on the microval pill. I would however like to go onto the Mirena, is this okay and safe. Will my milk dry up or be harmful to my child in any way?

Thank you

Regards

You can have the Mirena inserted. It will not interfere with brreastfeeding.
